For this three-bedroom penthouse apartment in iconic Trafalgar Square, London, we pulled out all the stops to deliver a stunning interior scheme. With the majority of the scheme elements uniquely designed and made bespoke for this apartment, the outcome is just as exclusive as its enviable postcode. This project was the winner of several major design awards.
Overlooking Trafalgar Square, this rooftop penthouse apartment was transformed into a luxurious and sophisticated residence to reflect its historical location. Furniture and lighting were carefully procured and positioned to maximise the incredible views and to create a light and airy scheme. An elegant central staircase, curving from level 21 to 24, was crafted in corian with wooden steps to blend with the herringbone flooring of the living quarters. The living room was adorned with three-dimensional wall-to-wall panelling and an integrated media unit and bar area, while textured wallpapers were masterfully used to mask the air conditioning and the ventilation was neatly inserted into the skirting. The study was designed to provide spectacular views of Nelsons Column and Trafalgar Square from the desk while the outdoor terrace with hot tub was also designed to maximise the panoramic views of the capital.
