Tailored living on the banks of the river Thames. Honky was commissioned to transform this two bedroom garden facing apartment into a stylish and memorable space. The design to was to create a relaxed and inviting scheme with a contemporary palate and classical detailing.
Limewash paint treatments were used in the reception and bedrooms where the fluid patterns created by the brushworks were contributory to the feeling of light and space. Coving and wall panelling was used to create traditional detailing adding architectural interest and structure to this bold and stylish interior design scheme.
Honky layered a multitude of textures and finishes using woods, leathers and metals in warm and earthy tones of rust, terracotta and black. This rich and warm palette flowed cohesively throughout the apartment.
Honky mixed bold contemporary artwork and furniture with traditional pieces and used strong accents of colour throughout. Tactile linens and neutral weaves were applied to the bespoke upholstery and window treatments and cashmere and velvets were layered to create a relaxed but luxurious interior.
